On behalf of the Ministry of Finance of the Omsk region and personally I welcome you to the portal "Budget for citizens".
The format of the materials placed on the portal will allow to provide detailed information about what is budget and budget process, directions and results of budget spending in the Omsk region, to describe each of the state programs, have a look at the public services provided by state and municipal institutions of the Omsk region.
The information is presented in the most compact and adapted for the citizensformand is very visual by using the infographics, charts, interactive elements and other modern methods of visualization.
I note that it is essential for us to consider the portal not only as an information resource to provide information to citizens, but also as a platform to discuss various solutions with the possibility to receive feedback. This interaction is important both for the public and local self-governingauthorities and state and municipal institutions of the Omsk region, including each of the employee.
Using of opportunities of public discussionsof the financial management decisions made in the region is especially important withthe growth of civic engagement of the population and increasing interest in state and municipal management matters.
We hope that our portal will be popular for a variety groups of users: politicians, scientists, representatives of expert communities, students, pensioners, foreign citizens, employees of public authorities, representatives of public and private organizations, and, most importantly, people with active civil position.
